It’s 1730 and it’s Carnivale time in Venice. Our gentleman, from the skilled hand of artist Peter Wolf is costumed and ready to join the festival balls. The gentleman has a painted carnival mask that barely disguise the merriment in his blue enamel eyes, a painted beauty spot, grey mohair wig, and wears a rich costume of magenta and blue silks with long black cape and a fringed cap. 14” from an edition of 30 dolls.
