"A good doll stays in the memory," so says the Dutch artist, Ankie Daanen, who's dolls are cast and then re-sculpted making each of them one of a kind. As an artist she is inspired by her love of fabrics, lace, and trims and her unique vision had her dolls appear on the cover of the May 2008 Dolls Magazine and continue to be one of the most sought after modern artist dolls in the world.
