It was a classic color combination in the late 19th century, and no wonder! We've re-created a dress made exactly this way in 1885, and in exactly these colors. Midnight blue box-pleated skirt, coat-style sleeves, and bodice that centers a pleated blouson of aqua silk, lace at the throat, and blue self covered buttons on the aqua cuffs complete the look.
