Elegantly-curved sides give shape to the flat front and provide a canvas for the rich black soutache embroidery that also appears on the cuffs of the long coat sleeves. The rounded neckline has a touch of lace. And then, there's the surprise of the dress back! Box pleats are framed by a sewn down hip sash.
