Yes, those dear little French dolls even wore silk to seaside resorts or to play in the garden. Modeled from an 1875 era ensemble, ours is made of a beautiful shadow pane print of mauve and cream silk, and includes an extended length tunic/dress with hook and eye closures at the front, elastic cuff pouf sleeves, and tie strings at the back. The matching bloomers have generous gathering below the knees and there is a matching cap with elaborate detail of shirring and gathers. Fine bottom lace trims all.
