Of delicate white cotton batiste the dress features a fitted bodice that is softened by wide bretelles of cutwork and embroidery at the front and back bodice. The trim is repeated in a wide ruffled band at the hem. The long full sleeves are captured at the wrist by double rows of lace that repeat at the neckline.
